Deposit Refund Policy
At Buy Salvage Autos LLC, we want you to feel confident when reserving a vehicle. Here is our deposit and refund policy:
$1,000 Reservation Deposit
A $1,000 deposit holds your vehicle for 72 hours. This gives you time to arrange financing, inspection, or transportation.
When Your Deposit IS Refundable
- Verified material listing discrepancy — Your deposit is refundable only if Buy Salvage Autos verifies that the vehicle materially differs from the listing in a substantial, undisclosed way.
When Your Deposit is NOT Refundable
- Disclosed vehicle condition — Damage disclosed in the listing before deposit, including structural/frame damage, salvage or title status, visible damage, missing parts, or run condition, does not qualify as an undisclosed listing discrepancy.
- Change of mind — If you decide you no longer want the reserved vehicle, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you contact us before the 72-hour hold period expires, we may release the reservation and allow a one-time transfer of the deposit to a different available vehicle. This transfer option may be used only once and does not make the deposit refundable.
- Failure to pay balance — If you do not complete payment within the 72-hour hold period, the deposit is forfeited and the vehicle returns to active inventory.
Vehicle Sales — No Returns
All vehicles are sold AS-IS. Once full payment is made and the vehicle is released to the buyer, the sale is final. There are no returns or exchanges. We strongly encourage all buyers to inspect vehicles (in person or via third-party inspection) before completing the purchase.
How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
